About This Project
Renato Olivastri works in an ancient workshop in Florence’s Oltrarno quarter. He specializes in restoring Boulle furniture, whereby wood inlays are replaced by prized woods and other prized materials such as brass, tortoiseshell, copper, pewter, and silver.
