About This Project

While I was in Moscow I had interesting experience to visit Stroganov Academy of Design and Art, which was founded in 1825.
I found that some parts of Academy is very authentic and fascinated. Academy spaces have the special atmosphere with creative mess, oil paint smell. Every free space hung with paintings, sketches, mosaics, frescoes…
Who knows how this place looked like in last centuries or even in 19th century. Academy was founded by Count Sergey Stroganov – a member of a noble Russian family, who consequently supported the development of national art and industry.
