About This Project

I had the honor of creating the video documentation for Accademia Women: Violante, a restoration project organized by the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno (AADFI) and Syracuse University in Florence, with the support of the Advancing Women Artists Legacy Fund.

The project focused on the restoration of three paintings attributed to the eighteenth-century artist Violante Siriès Cerroti, preserved at the Monastery of San Lorenzo al Monte in Galluzzo (Certosa di Firenze). Alongside the conservation treatment, the initiative included research, storytelling, and the creation of this documentary video to share the process and its cultural significance with a wider audience.

This legacy project was made possible thanks to the generosity of seven women supporters and the collaboration of important cultural institutions and partners, including SABAP, the San Leolino Community at Certosa di Firenze, The Florentine, Calliope Arts Foundation, and Restoration Conversations
